Calling Guide via the VarPhonex PSTN Portals
Local Calling Card Gateways
- Call anywhere in the world from any phone in the world and use your VarPhonex PrePaid Call Credit by dialing a Calling Card Access Number.
- In order to use this feature, call the applicable calling card access number, enter your Virtual Phone Number and 5-digit PIN (as set in the Control Panel), call any number (PSTN, IP, Voicemail, etc.) followed by the pound (#) key.
- This deducts applicable calling credit from your account based on the number called.
Note: Unlimited plans do not include the use of the Calling Card Gateways. You must maintain PrePaid Call Credit or Bulk Plan minutes to use this service.

800 Calling Card Portal
- Call anywhere in the world from any USA or Canada phone and use your account by dialing the calling card portal.
- Users call 800-360-1961 and enter their Virtual Phone Number and 5 digit PIN as set in the Control Panel to call any number (PSTN, IP, Conference, Voicemail...).
- Calls are billed at .04 per minute plus the per minute fee of the destination where you are calling. VarPhonex calling card access numbers require you to have Pay As You Go Call Credit and the applicable charges will be deducted from your call credit balance. Note: Unlimited plans do not include the use of the Calling Card Access Number. You must maintain PrePaid Call Credit or Bulk Plan minutes to use this service.
Note: 800 Gateway calls are charged from the time that the system answers the call. This includes all ring time, voicemail time and talk time.
